Covihelp is a youth organization that intends to adequately provide valuable COVID-19 resources to anybody who requires them. It is their belief, that with the use of social media and a well-equipped online database, they can help people find information and resources quickly. When asked about how this organization came to be, one of the founders states, “With the (COVID) cases rising, the people around us were already messaging us to find places where they could find beds, oxygen cylinders and all and we realized that there are many people out there who aren’t even aware of all these groups that are providing these resources” he continues, “so we decided to basically start an initiative that could help people connect with the suppliers.”

Acting as a bridge between the patients and helpers, Covihelp is a 24/7 hotline that aims to help anyone in India acquire the resources that they need. To access their services, a patient can contact them on not only the hotline number but also on Instagram and Facebook (@volunteers.covihelp). What started as a small initiative by 8 teenagers, now has over 200 volunteers who work tirelessly to lend a helping hand to their community. In the short span of a month, they have already resolved more than 500 cases.
